We are pleased to present our newest creation: “Acacia’s First Words”. Finely crafted entirely of our local radiant and rot resistant Black Locust, this model encompasses durability, beauty, simplicity and tonal eloquence. This outdoor model is designed to be permanently installed safely in the ground. Measuring 48 x 24 inches with posts four feet above grade, this marimba comes fitted with 2 rubber-tipped mallets. Our marimbas meet or exceed ASTM protocol, assuring safe outdoor musical exploration for users of all ages. The standard tuning for this instrument is the C to C chromatic scale which allows for error-free playing and encourages exploration and participation, as there are no wrong notes. It is designed to be “mass crafted” and is reasonably priced. These marimbas come in 3 simple-to-assemble parts with clear installation and care instructions.
